Preload by removing threaded end piece and inserting a round ball and patch. Screw the end piece back in and load powder into the opposite end. To transfer the load to your muzzleloader, pour powder down the barrel, and push on end to start bullet into the barrel. Finish seating with your ramrod. Works with .490 and .495 round balls.
